Database of the Month

The MLA International Bibliography (MLAIB) is one of the most important databases for researching literature, language, linguistics, and folklore. It is produced by the Modern Language Association and includes coverage from 1926 to the present. MLAIB provides citations to over 3,000 journals and series, and covers relevant monographs, working papers, proceedings, bibliographies, and other formats.Visit the MLA International Bibliography.

Shakespeare's Sonnets Online

This website provides keyed entries of all of Shakespeare's sonnets as presented in Thomas Thorpe's 1609 edition. In addition to the sonnets, the website also provides commentaries on the sonnets as well as full-page scans from Thorpe's edition. To help put Shakespeare and his work in an historical context, the website also features scanned works of art depicting England in Shakespeare's time. www.shakespeares-sonnets.com
